Meet Marty Miller – A Trusted Name in Gettysburg Real Estate for Over 50 Years
Born and raised in Gettysburg and a graduate of Gettysburg High School, Marty Miller brings more than five decades of unmatched real estate experience, local knowledge, and client-first dedication. His lifelong connection to the community has made him a trusted advisor and a pillar of the local real estate market.
Marty’s professional journey began with an Associate Degree in Business Management and an early career at Knouse Foods. At just 20 years old, in December 1970, he earned his Real Estate Sales License, launching a career that would span generations. By 1976, Marty had obtained his Broker’s License and founded his first real estate firm in Gettysburg—growing it to four offices and 49 sales associates.
A recognized leader, Marty was named President of the Hanover-Adams County Board of Realtors in 1989. After selling his initial firm, his passion for real estate remained strong. In 2006, he launched another successful real estate business and today serves as a partner with Mountain Realty ERA Powered.
Marty’s dedication to community and economic development is equally impressive. He served for 12 years on the Adams County Economic Development Corporation Board and currently serves on the Historical Architectural Review Board (HARB) for Cumberland Township, Adams County.
Throughout his career, Marty has generously shared his expertise by teaching real estate courses and speaking at institutions such as Gettysburg College’s Management Club. His entrepreneurial drive has also led to partnerships across industries—from restaurants and construction companies to a lumber and truss business.
In 1987, Marty hired Pam Bowers as an administrative assistant at his first firm. Under his mentorship, Pam grew into a top real estate professional. Today, they continue to collaborate on select transactions—each maintaining a loyal client base while combining their talents when it counts most.

Marty and Pam believe in a personal, face-to-face approach. They know that not everyone is comfortable with a fully digital experience and take pride in building trust the old-fashioned way—by sitting down, listening, and making sure every detail is understood.
When he’s not helping clients, Marty enjoys life on the farm with his wife Barb, their dog, and their cutting horses. They have two sons in Texas and love spending time with their grandchildren as often as possible.
